BEDFORD COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) — Many businesses are still feeling the effects of the major shutdowns which occurred at the start of the pandemic. But in Bedford County, more money was just awarded to dozens of local businesses to help.
The Bedford County Commissioners awarded a second round of over $500,000 to local businesses who are struggling because of the pandemic. The types of businesses range from restaurants to retail stores and even gyms.
EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — A 48-year-old woman from Kentucky shot an Uber driver on U.S. 54 south near exit 20 to Loop 375 in south-central El Paso Friday, police said.
The preliminary investigation revealed that the 52-year-old man from El Paso was driving the woman passenger when she shot him for "unknown reasons," a press release from El Paso police stated.
