Centre County customers of the Mountaintop Regional Water Authority are facing some issues again. This time, some are saying they have brown, dirty water.
Westmoreland County, PA — State police say a Westmoreland County man was arrested early Tuesday morning after troopers responded to a domestic disturbance and learned that the man had reportedly stabbed his own mother while she was sleeping. Troopers say Kort Noel Eckman, 45, of Hunker, Pa, was charged with attempted homicide, aggravated assault and other related offenses. Police say just after 1 a.m. Tuesday, troopers were dispatched to a residence along the 600 block of Armbrust-Hecla Road in Mount Pleasant Township for an active domestic situation.

Pennsylvania State Police are investigating after a three-month-old child was pronounced dead in Aliquippa Saturday afternoon. According to state police, Aliquippa Police Department responded to the 200 block of Beaver Avenue for reports of an unresponsive child just after 1:30 p.m. A press release states that the child was transported to Heritage Valley Beaver Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead. Aliquippa Police Department has turned the investigation over to state police and the death is being treated as "

(WJAC) — Police say a Woodland man was on drugs during a road rage incident where he rammed his vehicle into a woman’s vehicle in a Long John Silver’s parking lot before getting out and attacking her. According to Lawrence Township Police, officers received a call from a driver who said and aggressive driver was tailgating her Tuesday around 4:30 p.m. Police say the caller pulled into the parking lot of Long John Silver’s, along Daisy Street, to get help, but the other driver, later identified as 36-year-old Robert Roach, followed her into the parking lot.

The book is expected to spark controversy with Spanier’s narrative, which greatly differs at times with public opinion on the famous scandal. LOGAN TOWNSHIP -- Three men broke into the Horseshoe Curve historic landmark Sunday while people across the country watched on a livestream and dialed 911, Logan Township police said. Virtual Railfan, LLC provides livestreams of various popular railroad sites across the United States, including the Horseshoe Curve. Fans of the livestream said Sunday night that almost 200 people had been watching around the time of the break-in. Police said three men are involved, and the video shows them squeeze through a fence, and one man briefly gets stuck.

Somerset Co., PA (WJAC) — Authorities in Somerset County are working to clean up approximately 2,000 gallons of heating oil that was found spilled in the Stoystown area. Emergency officials reported Tuesday that the Highland Tank & Manufacturing Company discovered last Thursday, Oct. 27, that some of the piping for its heating system had been incorrectly installed, causing the fuel spill. “Anytime a hazardous material escapes its container or vessel and enters into our environment that poses a concern for multiple reasons.
