PITTSBURGH (AP) — Bill Hillgrove is retiring as the play-by-play voice of the Pittsburgh Steelers after three decades on the job.
The team made theannouncement on Thursday, though the 84-year-old Hillgrove will continue to be on the call for the University of Pittsburgh football and men's basketball teams.
Hillgrove replaced Jack Fleming as the team's play-by-play voice in 1994 and was there for every major moment in franchise history over the last 30 years, including Super Bowl titles after the 2005 and 2008 seasons.
SOMERSET COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — Officials say several vehicles were destroyed Friday when a truck hauling a trailer caught fire in Somerset County.
Authorities say it happened along National Pike, near the Maryland border, just after 4 p.m.
Officials say the truck was hauling the other vehicles when it caught fire.
The flames then reportedly spread into the woods along the road. Authorities say no injuries were reported.
Several crews responded to the scene, including some from Maryland.

The university-wide ceremony was scheduled for May 15.
The decision comes after weeks of protests on campus that escalated and feedback from student leaders, according to school officials.
Classes for college students have been disrupted as anti-Israel protesters chanted and took over a building on campus.

MIAMI (TND) — Two TSA officers were recorded stealing items from luggage they were suppose to be screening.
The officers in the recently released video were identified as Labarrius Williams and Josue Gonzalez.
Williams and Gonzalez are seen taking items out of passengers' luggage and placing the items in their pockets at a security check point at the Miami International Airport. The Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office released the footage to The National Desk on Friday following the officers' arrests.
