In the days since Special Counsel Robert Hur released a report that highlighted concerns about President Joe Biden’s memory, describing it as “significantly limited,” there's been a notable response from presidential appointees and allies. They have been quick to defend the president's mental acuity, emphasizing his attention to "pertinent questions" and care for "minute details." However, not all are convinced by this defensive stance; a former Democratic House member pointedly noted that the special counsel has merely stated what many have been hesitant to acknowledge openly.
CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. (AP) — Boeing called off its first astronaut launch because of a valve problem on the rocket Monday night.
The two NASA test pilots had just strapped into Boeing’s Starliner capsule when the countdown was halted, just two hours before the planned liftoff. A United Launch Alliance engineer, Dillon Rice, said the issue involved an oxygen relief valve on the upper stage of the company's Atlas rocket.
DAYTONA BEACH -- A Florida roller coaster that recently derailed from its tracks, injuring two people, was a longtime attraction at DelGrosso’s Amusement Park in Blair County.
Florida authorities say a car on the steel roller coaster, now called the "Sand Blaster,” suddenly derailed last week, sending two riders plunging more than 30 feet to the ground and another rider desperately holding on to a car still.
According to The Associated Press, the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services said the ride was found in compliance with state law when it was inspected earlier that day, but state records show it had a history of maintenance problems.
According to multiple reports, the Tennessee Titans have reportedly agreed to sign former Pittsburgh Steelers' backup quarterback Mason Rudolph to a one-year free agent deal.
The deal is reportedly worth over $3 million. Rudolph was drafted by the Steelers in 2018 and played in parts of four seasons for Pittsburgh.
He made 13 career starts as a Steeler and finished with a record of 8-4-1, including 3-0 while filling in during the 2023 season.
WASHINGTON (TND) — Actress Jamie Lee Curtis broke her silence Thursday and attempted to explain why she quickly and quietly deleted a social media post that left many on the internet confused.

According to court documents, police began investigating Morales-Berrios' disappearance on Jan. 15 after they received reports that no one in her immediate family had seen her since a family party on Jan.
HUNTINGDON CO, Pa (WJAC) — According to Mount Union police, a Mapleton man was arrested and charged earlier this week after leading officers on a multi-county chase.
Police say 37-year-old Bradley McMullen faces over a dozen charges, including aggravated assault, fleeing police and disorderly conduct.
Police say on the night of August 10th, officers attempted to stop McMullen's vehicle for a minor traffic violation.
Authorities say McMullen failed to stop, resulting in a high-speed pursuit that ended when he crashed his vehicle in Mifflin County.
The Westmont Presbyterian Church held a community prayer service on Tuesday evening for Westmont and surrounding neighborhoods. This comes in a time of multiple school threats across our region and feelings of uncertainty in our community.

Ten dogs continue to recover after they were found living in filth.
The dogs were discovered during a drug bust in Mifflin County, but have been in the care of the Huntingdon County Humane Society.
According to volunteers at the Humane Society, when the dogs arrived they were in pretty rough shape.
"They were not in good condition at all.
